Turquoise and Gold Egyptian Revival Bracelet
This bracelet references the Egyptian Revival period of the 1920's, when a surge of ancient discoveries in Egypt inspired worldwide fascination with tombs, pharaohs, scarabs, and a widely-used stone from the era called faience, which is close in color to turquoise. The ankh, widely agreed to symbolize life itself, is one of the most recognizable icons of Egyptian history. This bracelet draws from these symbols and binds them together.
