Ceremonial Rattle with Face
Ceremonial Rattle with Face
This incredibly unique handcrafted ceremonial rattle features a gently smiling face on one end and a cool two tone colorway. Inspired by traditional Japanese firing, this piece is raku fired, using a fast, high-temperature technique. Ceramic pieces are removed from the kiln and placed into combustible materials. This produces unpredictable metallic or carbonized surface effects. Both a sculpture and a tool, this special piece is used for meditation, comfort, and healing. Place it on your desk to keep your papers in place, and give it a quick shake as needed.
